Chiropractic Care: Aligning Health Through Science
Chiropractic care emphasizes the vital connection between the brain and every single cell in the body. The spinal cord and the nerves that come from it are the gateway of information between the two. Misalignments can cause nerve irritation interfering with the brain body connection and ultimately creating a state of poor health.
We employ evidence-based spinal adjustments to correct misalignments, remove nerve interference, and activate your body’s natural healing processes.
Why Chiropractic Care Works:
- Alleviates chronic pain
- Restores flexibility and range of motion
- Optimizes nervous system health
- Boosts energy levels
- Supports preventative health strategies
Our Scottsdale practice integrates cutting-edge techniques with compassionate care to provide exceptional outcomes for our patients.

Frequently Asked Questions
We’re an out-of-network chiropractic office, which means we aren’t contracted with any insurance plan. Many patients still have benefits that reimburse part of their chiropractic care. We’re happy to review your explanation of benefits so you know your actual cost up front. Call us and we’ll walk through it.
Your first visit includes a consultation, examination, and X-rays if needed. Dr. Pope will review your history, what brought you in, and what you want to get back to doing, then examine why you’re experiencing discomfort. He’ll explain what he finds and what chiropractic care would involve. If appropriate, your first chiropractic adjustment can happen that day. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes.
New patients can start with a $47 consultation and chiropractic examination. If chiropractic care isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you and point you toward someone who may be able to help. Call the office for current availability.
Yes. We offer Erchonia low-level laser therapy in our chiropractic clinic. It’s a non-thermal, non-invasive therapy applied over the treatment area, and sessions run 10 to 20 minutes. Depending on your examination findings, it may complement chiropractic care for certain pain or injury concerns. Dr. Pope will tell you whether it’s appropriate for you.
Non-surgical spinal decompression uses a specialized table to apply gentle, controlled traction to the spine. At our Scottsdale office, it’s often considered for disc-related low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and herniated disc concerns. Most people find the therapy comfortable. Dr. Pope will discuss whether your examination findings suggest it’s worth trying.
Most patients describe a chiropractic adjustment as quick and relieving rather than painful. Some feel mild soreness afterward, similar to a new workout, and it typically settles within a day. If you’re nervous about being adjusted, say so. Dr. Pope can use a gentler approach and adapt it to your comfort level.
It depends on the problem, its severity, how long it’s been present, and your goals. Whether you visit for back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, or another concern, Dr. Pope will recommend a specific chiropractic care plan after your examination and explain why. You’ll be re-examined so progress is measured, and you’re never locked into anything.
Yes. We evaluate and care for auto accident and personal injury patients, including people with whiplash, neck pain, or back pain after a collision. It’s worth being examined even if you feel mostly fine because symptoms may appear days or weeks later. Call us and we’ll explain how the documentation works.
Yes. Dr. Pope played hockey at the University of Nebraska Omaha and was drafted and signed by the Detroit Red Wings, so training, competing, and returning from injury are familiar territory. As a sports chiropractor in Scottsdale, he works with weekend athletes and youth, collegiate, and professional competitors seeking care for sports injuries, mobility, and performance.
Appointments are preferred so you get the full time you need. Call the office and we’ll usually get you in quickly. Our chiropractic clinic is in North Scottsdale, just east of the Loop 101 near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Redfield Road. We’re convenient to DC Ranch, Grayhawk, Troon, and McCormick Ranch, with easily accessible parking.
